The Firth of Clyde Coastal Rowing team defended their title as trophy winners of the Hamilton Rock title in a fiercely contested race on Sunday 22 June as part of the Arran Coastal rowing regatta.
Spokeswoman Melanie Grey said: "It was the toughest race we’ve done for long time and even beating North Berwick! We were hanging over our oars at the end!
"The club is also entering the Worlds in Stranraer this month.
"We are training really hard. The previous day to the Hamilton Rock win, the club won a bronze in the mixed open and the women’s open at the Arran regatta but the Hamilton Rock was defending our title.
A" huge big thank you to Arran Coastal Rowing for running such a well organised, timely, friendly and fun regatta. The food was superb and the after party was such brilliant fun."
