Damaged cables have caused an internet outage for online customers in the area.
It affected all providers using the Openreach Network which includes Sky, Plusnet, BT, EE Broadband, Vodafone Broadband, TalkTalk and Post Office Broadband.
The Sky Help Team issued the following statement yesterday afternoon: "Customers may not be able to get online or make/receive calls."
And a following statement read: "Onsite engineers have identified extensive damage to fibre cables, work is unable to continue overnight due to health and safety reasons. Repair work will resume in the morning."
And on Tuesday morning, a North Ayrshire Council spokesman said: "Due to an outage from our Internet provider, there is no Internet at Largs Library, and we apologise for any inconvenience."
And by 3.15pm on Tuesday, Openreach confirmed to the 'News' that the problem had been fixed.
