The Friends of the Firth of Clyde have been out in force over the last two weekends in Largs Town Centre.
The group would like to thank everyone that signed cards on Saturday asking Marine Scotland for an (EIA) Environmental Impact Assessment into proposals for an oil rig decommissioning yard at Hunterston - over 1000 were signed in one day,
Independent councillor Ian Murdoch has arranged a public meeting at Largs Academy at 7pm on Thursday 8 August to discuss the latest regarding Peel Ports controversial plans for an oil rig decommissioning yard at Hunterston.
The Friends group will be in attendance.
