Now entering its 5th year “The Great Cumbrae Kayak Race” promises to be a great day of fun and challenge.
The race takes place on Saturday 17 August, during the Cumbrae Watersports Sea Kayak Festival, with categories and prizes for individuals and teams in performance boats, touring boats, Junior Racers and a Team Trophy.
Previously known as the sportscotland Sea Kayak Symposium, the festival will bring together paddlers of all ability and ages, and will include practical workshops, guest speakers, demonstrations of latest kit, and time to relax and enjoy the beautiful island setting with a BBQ. The weekend promises to be fun, entertaining and informative and it is our hope that the sea kayak festival attracts old and new paddlers alike.
