The Opportunities in Retirement group for over 50s in Largs is hosting an open day on Wednesday September 4.
There is an extensive list of activities to enjoy including: Art & Chat, Beginners Bridg, Beginner's German, Beginners Italian, Book Club, Calligraphy, carpet bowls, cycling and dancing.
Membership is around 800, drawn mostly from Largs, Skelmorlie, Wemyss Bay, Fairlie and West Kilbride. It was founded in 1987.
The organisation exists to encourage and facilitate interesting activities for those who have retired, or who may be thinking about it. Most activity groups depend on the initiative, skills and voluntary contributions of individual members. Members are encouraged to suggest and help to promote additions to the list of activity groups.
The open day takes place between 2-4pm at the Clark Memorial Church Hall.
