West Kilbride Community Centre is hosting its Open Day on Saturday 7th September from 12 noon-4pm.

Steven Barclay, chair of the association said: ‘We are delighted to be part of Doors Open again and to have a chance to showcase our wonderful centre to local residents and visitors alike.’

‘On Saturday we have a busy programme planned including activities in the car park for younger ones, plus virtual reality and other experiences for older ones, and live music, burgers, cake and refreshments for those who want to sit and chat.’

‘During the afternoon we will also have a range of activities and services showcased as mini tasters to whet appetites for greater involvement in the community centre.’

‘There are many ways that local people can achieve this, for example through our adult education programme and other agencies such as the village nursery, KA Leisure, Dance Depot, line dancing, table tennis, snooker, Tai Chi, pilates, and acupuncture.’
