There is major disruption to trains from Largs and Wemyss Bay to Glasgow this lunchtime.
Because of a train fault between Glasgow Central and Cardonald all lines are disrupted. Disruption is expected to last until around 5.45pm according to the ScotRail website.
Train services between Glasgow Central and Largs will be delayed or revised.
A spokesperson said:" “The broken-down train is now back in the depot and services are returning to normal, however there will be some alterations, cancellations and delays because of crews and units out of place.”
