Largs Girls Brigade enjoyed a 'pizza' the action during their recent get-together.

Captain Vicky McGregor said: "This week we thought about the Girls Brigade badge which is made from different parts.

"We looked at the lamp and thought about how a lamp gives us light and guides us in the darkness. We talked about Jesus being the light of the world.

"The Explorers were busy making pizzas this week using sandwich thins and a variety of toppings. They were delicious!"

The Juniors made cards for the charity Compassionate Inverclyde.

This charity provides provisions for people leaving hospital who do not have friends or family at home.

Vicky added: "The Brigaders started work on their physical badge which is party dances, they enjoyed YMCA, the Macarana and Cha Cha Slide. There was a lot of giggling!

"They also created thankful pumpkins, thanking God for all the good things we enjoy.

"This weekend we have our Divisional Praise Service in St Kentigerns church Kilmarnock where we will be thinking about Harvest."
