A terrific sum was raised for MacMillan Nurses after the World's Biggest Coffee morning was held in Largs.
May Fulton of Homemount House said: "The residents of Homemount House would like to thank the ladies of Clark Memorial Church who graciously volunteered their time in helping us in a very successful coffee morning, and thanks to the Largs community for all their support in raising £1839.69 for the Macmillan Nurses and the wonderful work that they do."
The event was also supported by Lesley Clements and Gillian Young in memory of their mum, Margaret Fleming, used to run the Jacobite Tearoom in the town centre, and was also a well-known baker in her time at the Green Shutters.
