There was an early morning smash on the A78 resulting in police and ambulance rushing to the scene.
A driver was issued with a fixed penalty ticket after crashing into a wall in Largs.
The incident happened at the junction of Greenock Road and Douglas Street at 6am last Thursday.
The ambulance attended and the driver was checked over by paramedics but didn't need to go to hospital.
An uplift recovery then took place to take the damaged vehicle away.
The wall was partially demolished as a result of the incident and then covered with police cordon tape.
