Council gritters in action this evening in Largs area
Council gritters will be in action in Largs and priority roads throughout the region.
Road surface temperatures falling below freezing tonight.
A council spokesman said: "As a precaution gritters will treat priority 1 routes at 4pm and then again at 5am. Noon update."
Warmer evening temperatures are forecast for later this week.
