The Kathleen Donald award will be open to all Isle of Cumbrae residents.
The award will be made to the individual who, in the opinion of the elderly forum board, has contributed significantly to the wellbeing of others.
In addition to the Quaich, an award of £100 will be made to the recipient.
Stewart Grant of the forum said "We are asking all community organisations and individuals to nominate a young person or adult who they feel has made a contribution to the well being of others in the community."
All nominations to be submitted by 6 November.
Nomination forms are available in most local shops and also in the Elderly Forum Charity Shop.
