A TALENTED Largs double act will soon be appearing on TV screens across Scotland after releasing their record-breaking Barrfields show as their first DVD.

Dynamic duo Ryan Moir and Ruairidh Forde, better known as the McDougalls, are now set to conquer the country having impressed local audiences with their fun and interactive show.

The DVD, which has just finished production, was filmed at a special one-off performance at Barrfields Theatre earlier this year in front of local school children.

Hot off their sell out tour, the award-winning children's entertainers will release their McDougalls Safari Adventure just in time for Christmas.

Co-founder and producer Ryan said: "We have had a lot requests for DVDs of our shows to give as birthday and Christmas presents, or from people wanting to buy as a special keepsake of the show.

"After a lot of discussions we finally decided to take the plunge.

"Hopefully this will be the perfect stocking filler."

Co-founder and artistic director Ruairidh said: "We want to share our special brand of singalong music, fun and laughter with people in their homes, not just on stage.

"Ryan and I sat in on the editing and are really proud and pleased with the final result."

The highly-acclaimed show has lots of sing-a-long moments and is packed with audience participation. It will feature family favourites Auntie Aggie, her nephew Max and Morag their pet rabbit.

The McDougalls Safari Adventure will be available soon, although an official release date is still to be announced.
