The crew at Largs Fire Station had the pleasure of being asked by St John's Church in Largs to erect the amazing poppy display on Monday evening.
The cascade of knitted and crocheted poppies form part of an impressive art display which will adorn the front of the church over Remembrance.
All ages in the congregation took part, and even the Largs Girls Brigade were involved in the symbolic commemoration in memory of the fallen.
The original idea was to commemorate the 100 years since the Great War, and given it was such a success last year, it was decided fitting to bring back the poppy display within view of the War Memorial across the street.
