Look out for live music coming to West Kilbride.
cua and the Mikey Kenney Band will play in West Kilbride Village Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday 7th December. Tickets, £10, are available from the village hall and Gift Tae Gie. cua are a folk, world and roots music trio based in Ireland who utilise dynamic and contrasting instrumentation and vocal arrangements to create a world music folk styling that the group call Atlantean. The cua live experience has been compared to the melodic intricacies of Plantxy combined with the harmony skills of Crosby, Stills and Nash. Mikey Kenney (fiddle and concertina) and Adam Beattie (guitar and bass) are both well-established on the British folk scene but this is a rare opportunity to hear them perform together.
