Two Largs Academy pupils who are members of the Ardrossan Rugby squad have been selected for the prestigious Glasgow Thistle 2020 summer rugby camp in Perpignan.
Two of the players attend Largs Academy, while the other one attends Ardrossan Academy.
The Largs Academy players, Colin Cameron and Eben Cairns, have played at Ardrossan Rugby and the school for the last 3 years.
The rugby camp is an annual event for up to 45 players and is designed to develop the players not only as athletes but as people.
The trip is over 14 nights with the boys training most days with invited SRU coaches, weight training, educational and cultural trips.
While in France the boys are expected to converse in French where possible.
All three boys are tasked with raising £1000 each towards the cost of the trip and have set up a GoFundMe page to help - www.gofundme.com/manage/supporting-youth-rugby
