CLYDE Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium has made an £8,000 donation to charity to support crucial end of life care for families across the country.
The local businesses donation to the Children's Hospice Across Scotland will go towards helping families during their most difficult time.
This is the fourth donation the crematorium has made to local hospices since opening last summer - bringing the total donated to an incredible £28,000.
Funds have been raised through the facility’s Institute Recycling of Metals Scheme, which works to sensitively recover metals and orthopaedic implants following cremation, with the consent of bereaved families.
A cheque was handed over to Hayley Smith of CHAS at the new crematorium located in the beautiful Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park hills.
Philip Ewing, manager, said: "CHAS is a truly incredible organisation, filled with the most inspiring, caring and strong people, and we are so proud to be able to help them with this donation."
