Skelmorlie and Wemyss Bay Parish Church recently hosted its popular annual Friday soup event for a good cause.
The event was to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Crossreach - the social care arm of the Church of Scotland.
Not only was a good excuse to come in from the winter cold, but it was an opportunity for some friendly chat and conversation.
The Skelmorlie soups event has been running since 1998 by the voluntary church group.
Launched by Margaret Spence, it is estimated that over the years, it has raised over £60,000 for church funds.
