Former Scotland and Celtic boss Gordon Strachan is heading to The Beacon Arts Centre for a talk about his career.

Strachan has built up an immense reputation in the world of football.

In his playing career, he played at the highest level with a range of clubs winning League titles on both sides of the border as well as European success.

He graced the international stage for Scotland on 50 occasions and when retiring from the playing side went into management, most notably by taking Southampton to the FA Cup Final, winning trophies over a four-year period at Celtic and taking charge of the Scottish international side.

On what promises to be an entertaining night, Gordon will be discussing his colourful career and life with Gerry McDade.

The show takes place on 29 January.
