Safe stolen in Aitken St raid
Police investigations are continuing after a four figure sum was stolen from a shop in Largs town centre.
A safe was targeted in the premises in the overnight raid during December, Largs Police have stated.
The theft was revealed at the recent Largs Community Council meeting in a report given by Sergeant Sharon Kerr.
She said: "There was a commercial premises enter by force in Aitken Street Largs between the hours of 5pm on 22 December and 7.45am on 23 December whereby a four figure sum of money was taken.
"This matter was reported to police and all relevant enquiries are being carried out including CCTV enquiries."
