Local libraries to shut their doors through North Ayrshire
North Ayrshire Council has today announced the closure of all public libraries until further notice as the coronavirus outbreak continues in Scotland.
Online services will still be available but physical buildings will shut at the end of business on Thursday 19 March.
A statement on the NAC website said that closure was a “proportionate and necessary step”. This decision affects Fairlie, Largs, Millport, Skelmorlie and West Kilbride libraries.
