Like many other churches, Brisbane Evangelical Church is offering online services during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Weekly sermons are available on the church YouTube page and the church Facebook page has already become a hub, with more than 130 people joining in the last week.
The Kids' Church is being innovative too, with their normal fun activities being run online as well.
Pastor Gordon Weir said, "In these difficult days for everyone, it's perhaps inevitable that some will turn to the church or have long-dormant issues of faith stirred.
"We are seeing people appreciate the sense of togetherness and community, things that perhaps we have often taken for granted in our 'normal' lives.
"It's my prayer that we can get through these difficult days together, and that in the apparent uncertainty and anxiety, the church can be a voice of hope and a beacon of light."
