Dental practices in Largs and district will see patients with pain only going forward.
This is due to new advice issued regarding treatment of dental patients which has been introduced to reduce the risk of transmission of covid- 19.
Covid 19 precautions have put restrictions on the treatments dental surgeries are able to provide.
The local practices have come together to provide an emergency service.
On Thursday 26 March, contact Largs Dental Surgery on 01475 673399.
On Friday 27th, contact Largs Dental Care, 26 Wilson Street Largs 01475 672009.
A spokesperson for Largs Dental Surgery said: "We will not be allowed to use dental equipment that uses water or creates a spray.
"This rules out most routine treatment unless it is classed as a severe dental emergency."
