North Ayrshire residents can access a host of library services online during the coronavirus lockdown.
On the free library app, residents can access electronic books, magazines, music and join a virtual book club.
Councillor Louise McPhater, Cabinet Member for Connected Communities said: “The Libraries, Information and Culture team is doing a fantastic job in ensuring our communities remain connected during lockdown.
“Our digital library services are designed to provide lots of opportunities for residents to engage with online activities and provide a means of connection and escapism during these challenging times.
“With lots of engaging resources for learning, literacy or simply for reading pleasure, I would urge everyone to get involved and start taking advantage of these fantastic services from the comfort and safety of your own home.”
Anyone who lives, works or studies in North Ayrshire can become a library member by going to www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/libraries/join-the-library.aspx.
