A 32 foot yacht got into difficulty after it lost its power on the Clyde near Largs.
Largs lifeboat were called out to attend on July 31 at 9.15pm.
RNLI spokesman Dave Hewitt said: "The lifeboat proceeded in light wind conditions and located the vessel one mile North West of Largs and was taken in tow to Largs Yacht Haven.
"On arrival assistance was given in berthing the vessel and landing the occupants."
The lifeboat then returned to Station, Covid 19 protocols carried out, and made ready for the next service.
