Foundation Scotland are providing funding to support charities and constituted community groups that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Grant funding is available from £1,000 to £5,000.
The support includes to groups and activities supporting vulnerable people self-isolating (the elderly, people with pre-existing medical conditions etc.) as well as support for foodbanks and community response coordination
The funding can also help support additional costs to support a move to remote working and adapting services delivered in the wider community, and organisations providing emotional support, mental health and wellbeing and bereavement support
A spokesperson for Foundation Scotland said: "As some lockdown restrictions are lifted this phase of funding will support organisations to continue their operations in the ‘new normal’, to re-establish or re-design their activities to comply with new regulations in addition to providing emergency support for those who need it most."
