Long awaited fence repairs are taking place on the A78 road north of Largs.
Road campaigner Archie Burleigh welcomed the news that the repairs were happening at last after a lorry crash in 2018 which wrecked the barrier.
In June 2018, the lorry crashed into the fencing and landed on its side one mile south of Skelmorlie, near The Meigle.

A convoy system is in place at Ashcraig Lodge wall where masonry parapet wall repairs are taking place over seven days, starting on Monday.
Archie Burleigh said: "It has been over two years ago since the accident but it is good to see that the repairs are taking place at last."
