The anticipated reopening of Largs library for the first time in over five months has been postponed.
The library was due to open today as part of a pilot scheme alongside Irvine library, however this will no longer take place.
North Ayrshire Council say this is due to anticipated announcements from the UK and Scottish Government surrounding an increase in coronavirus restrictions.
A number of measures were to be in place at the library to keep residents and staff safe including social distancing, screens and a time limit for browsing books.
More information on the library will be provided by North Ayrshire Council in the coming days.
