GLASGOW has reacted to "bampot" panic buyers ahead of Nicola Sturgeon's announcement on new restrictions on social gatherings.
As the country prepares to enter a new period of restrictions, there have been reports of panic buying of toilet roll and other essentials across the country.
But Glasgow Times readers are having none of it.
We asked our readers if they had noticed anyone panic buying in the shops.

Julie Young wrote: "Anyone who panic buys is a bampot. Honestly, did we not learn anything from the last mass of idiotic panic buyers?"
David Findlay has got a plan for surviving the anticipated second lockdown.

Janice Kinghorn put panic buyers in their place with this comment.
And one football fan thinks that the SPFL might have got in on the panic buying ahead of shoppers.

John McGrory had this simple solution to stop people from hoarding essential goods.
It comes as stringent new restrictions are imposed on the UK, with the First Minister announcing today that while schools are to remain open many other public spaces will shut immediately.

Pubs, bars and restaurants have been ordered to close at 10pm and office workers have been told to work from home where they can.
Speaking in the Scottish Parliament today, Nicola Sturgeon said that while the new measures were "tough", they did not amount to a second lockdown.
She hoped that acting early would avoid the need for a second lockdown. The new measures will be reviewed after three weeks.
