Snooker and darts were the boom sports in the autumn during the early 1980s as you can see in this weekend's nostalgia feature.
There are plenty of recognisable faces in this old picture from 38 years ago as Fairlie Darts team were celebrating a victory in the Village Inn.
The News photographer was there to capture the magic moment.
