The completion date for the Fairlie roadworks on the A78 south of Kelburn have been revealed.
Planned maintenance on the A78 at Kelburn Country Park is currently paused, to repair a collapsed part of the drainage system. The damage was revealed when the road surface was lifted. The collapse has led to a build up of silt in the drainage ditch for an extent of about 60m. Outfalls to the ditch are also blocked due to high silt levels.
On Friday 20th November, surfacing and lining work will take place, with final remedial work expected to be cleared and the road fully re-opened by 6am on Saturday 21st November.
An Amey spokesperson said: "No further full closures of the carriageway are anticipated, but if there are any changes these will be communicated as a matter of urgency via our website."
