Largs celebrity Willie Brown BEM was delighted to officially launch the Boys Brigade Christmas Post Box in Morrison’s supermarket.
The milkman, who has been recognised in the Queen's Honours List for his services to the community, from Inverkip to West Kilbride, and overseas to Millport, was on hand for the festive event.
Willie, pictured on right, said: "Please support the local Boys Brigade by posting your cards, Largs ones only and the suggested donation of 25p per card. It’s a real bargain!"
Largs BB Captain David Paton, on left, said: "The last collection is December 6.
"For cards, 25p each is the recommended donation.Ensure the address is accurate and clearly displayed.
Pop the card into the BB post box. Pop the donation into the same post slot.
"The service is for delivery within Largs only."
