THE headteacher of a Glasgow schoolgirl has paid tribute to the "bubbly" youngster following her tragic death.
Sophia Walker passed away on November 25 following a brave battle with a brain tumour.
Glaswegians across the city honuored Sohpia and her family by lighting candles in her memory.
Donna Bowman, headteacher at Govan Gaelic Primary School, where Sophia attended, described the youngster as bubbly and much-loved.
She said: "To have known Sophia brought great joy and happiness.

"She was a lively, bubbly and much-loved wee girl who just loved to entertain; through telling stories, singing and sharing jokes.
"She will always have a place in our hearts and the whole school community will forever treasure our fond memories of her.
"As a school, we are supporting one another to come to terms with this painful loss.
"The family are at the forefront of our minds and we send them our love. Aig fois agus sìth."
Aig fois agus sìth means at peace in Gaelic.
