Nardini's have thanked their loyal customers as they have revealed a projected opening date in 2021.
The cafe and neighbouring Toni Macaroni restaurant under the ownership of Viva Italia has been closed since November.
A spokesperson said: "We'd like to wish all our amazing Nardini's Cafe loyal customers and staff a happy new year,
"2020 was an unforgettable year that brought challenges, but we got through it and made it to 2021 together.
"We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us during the last year, from our amazing staff, our hardworking suppliers through to our loyal ice-cream loving customers. We know that things can only get better in 2021!
"We'll reopen the doors here again on April 2, when hopefully the world will be a safer and better place.
"We cannot wait to serve you the best ice-cream sundaes and more once again."
