Re-cycling centre has re-opened
Largs Recycling Centre has re-opened after it was closed since Hogmanay.
A spokesperson for North Ayrshire Council said: “Due to adverse weather conditions, we had to temporarily close Largs Household Waste Recycling Centre earlier than planned yesterday (Tuesday 5 January).
“Due to improving conditions, the site has now reopened.
“We anticipate it remaining open during normal operating hours, but as is always the case during winter, we may experience further closures at short notice if weather conditions deteriorate.”
