Plea for patience from Professor Jason Leitch over vaccine roll out
There has been a plea for patience from Professor Jason Leitch over the Covid19 vaccine roll out after the NHS have been inundated with enquires.
A number of elderly people have told the 'News' that they have not as yet heard when they will get the vaccine, and say they would like to receive some assurance.
In response, the Scottish Clinical Director has said: "I love that everyone is impatient for the vaccine and keen to help protect themselves and others.
"We will get to you...please be patient.
"Don't call your GP, they know you're there. The NHS will be in touch. We will get to you as supplies arrive.
