Current lockdown restrictions will remain in place until at least mid-February says the First Minister.
Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that a review will take place on February 2, but says the country is still in a 'precarious position'.
She also confirmed that around 100,000 residents are being vaccinated each week.
Schools will remain closed until mid-February, except for the children of key workers.
The government's 'stay at home' message will remain in place.
The First Minister also revealed that 90 per cent of care home residents in Scotland have recieved their first dose of the vaccine.
More than 70 per cent of care home staff and frontline health workers have also been given theirs.
In the past 24 hours, a further 1,165 cases of the virus have been confirmed, with 71 new deaths due to the disease.
