The drilling ship which broke moorings and floated into the channel between Hunterston and Cumbrae has today been returned to the pier.
The incident sparked a major emergency response with tug boats brought in to keep the Valaris D4 ship under control.
Engines were restored on the ship last Wednesday and she has been sitting at anchor until today.
Photos by Alan Graham show the two ships now safely docked at the terminal.
The 105 metre drill ship, which had eight crew on board, broke from its moorings amid 70mph winds.
Coastguard teams from Largs, Adrossan, Ayr, Gourock and Cumbrae were all sent to the site to assist.
