The First Minister has confirmed that select pupils will return to schools from next week.
Nicola Sturgeon told the Scottish Parliament that the phased and gradual return to school will begin as planned on Monday February 22.
Nursery and P1-3 pupils will return from that date, followed by S4-6 pupils who need to attend for essential practical work.
School staff and senior pupils will be offered twice weekly at-home testing to help keep schools as safe as possible.
The First Minister admitted it was unlikely that there would be any further return to schools before March 15.
In the past 24 hours across Scotland, 773 new cases of the virus have been confirmed, and a further 49 deaths registered.
