First Minister Nicola Sturgeon says she will outline a routemap out of lockdown next week.

In an address to the Scottish Parliament, she said the government hopes to publish a revised framework for exiting restrictions on Tuesday February 23.

The First Minister said she would talk with other parties, businesses and third sector bodies to create the new framework.

She said: "We hope to use the tools at our disposal to restore greater normality, but conditions need to be met for us to start lifting restrictions.

"We want to set out our priorities for reopening and what a return to geographical levels may look like.

"We are very likely to advise against booking Easter holidays but summer staycations may be possible.

"Given the risk posed by the virus, we must be careful, cautious and gradual if we want to avoid another lockdown later this year."
