Traffic Scotland alerted road users to a tree branch on the road on the A78 near Largs Golf Club this morning.

An Amey spokesperson said: "There are reports of a large tree branch which has fallen on the road - Amey Incident Support are attending."
"Largs Golf Club is now clear - the tree branch has been removed."
Meanwhile, a flood alert has been issued for Ayrshire and Arran.
A SEPA spokesperson said: "We are expecting a spell of very wet and windy weather during Tuesday and into Wednesday."
