THE show did go on for a local dance school during lockdown in a bid to keep youngsters active and entertained.
Karen Aitchison School of Dance kept the lights on for pupils as everyone from tots to adults kept moving.
The teachers, using interactive computer technology, have been able to progress with grading work, classical ballet studies and Highland Dancing classes despite the challenges isolation posed.
Students of Highland, in particular, enjoyed a series of challenges set by age and skill group to motivate the children to learn more and go the extra mile while improving their moves.
The school brought back its face-to-face sessions on April 28 and will look to conclude the year with the ever-popular Tap-athon in November.
Whether you are looking for something fun for your children to do after restrictions ease, or a class for your child to meet others their own age, the school has something for everyone and is run by fully qualified Royal Academy of Dance teachers.
Covid-19 safety and prevention measures will be in place at the studio moving forward.
