It was a return to Hunterston Port for the US Navy supply ship T-AOE-6 on a misty May Bank Holiday Monday.
Described as a supply-class fast combat support ship, the vessel departed Naval Station Rota, Spain on April 8, before coming to the Clyde.
The Royal Navy in Scotland tweeted the following - "It’s a bit of a ‘dreich’ Bank Holiday Monday morning on the west coast this morning but once again, we welcome back American USNS SUPPLY (T-AOE-6) to Hunterston."
