'Save our Library' was the strong message coming from a Saturday morning protest in West Kilbride.
It comes as the petition to save the reading resource reached 1,000 signatures.
Residents came together on the lawn next to the library to fight against the proposed relocation of the village library to the community centre. All ages including young families were involved in the protest event.
Campaigners are concerned that the current consultation by North Ayrshire Council will lead to the facility being moved from the historic building into the community centre.
