IT was a day to remember as Millport Bowling Club celebrated its 150th anniversary in beautiful sunshine.
President Christine McCubbin delivered the jack and her husband John, a past president, delivered the opening two bowls to mark the occasion.
It was a low key affair with a bigger celebration planned for later in the year when it is safe to do so.
There was a total of 24 participants on the opening day and some spectators.
Christine said: "The weather was very nice - it was a beautiful day."
