The relief vessel set to take over from the broken down MV Loch Riddon has been delayed on its way to Largs.

The MV Loch Linnhe will not be in service until Tuesday July 20 due to tidal conditions on its journey.

The MV Loch Shira will operate the route on its own today (Monday July 19) with delays possible.

The Loch Linnhe is used by CalMac as a relief vessel for a number of routes, and is 35 years old.
