The whole of Scotland has today moved to level 0 restrictions, as close to normality as possible with some rules still in place.

The last remaining restrictions are set to be eased in August, if the Scottish Government believe it is safe to do so.

Here are all the changes that have now come into effect for Largs residents and businesses as we move into level 0...

In level 0, almost all of society and its business can open up, with the exception of nightclubs and some other forms of entertainment.

The numbers of people allowed to gather in groups has also increased both indoors and outdoors.

From today, up to eight people from four households can now stay indoors, and up to ten people from four households can meet indoors in public spaces such as pubs and restaurants.

In outdoor spaces, up to 15 people from 15 different households can now meet.

Hospitality has also been affected, with closing times now extended to midnight, and social distancing is reduced to one metre.

Face coverings are still required in indoor public places and on public transport, despite England removing this rule.

Outdoor events can return in larger numbers with a maximum capacity of 2,000 people outside, and 400 people inside.

The limit on weddings and funerals has also doubled from 100 to 200.
