Largs Market will have some musical entertainment this Saturday after a top signing who shot to fame on ITV’s The Voice Kids in 2019.
The talented teen will be performing at the Gallowgate Square market which is open from 10am till 4pm showcasing a number of local businesses.
Largs Events chairman Ian Murdoch said: "We have a treat for you this Saturday we are being joined by this very talented young gentleman - Alfie King
"You might recognise him from The Voice Kids - Will.i.am's team."
Alfie duetted with Ava McFarlane, above, in the prime time tv show and impressed the judges with their rendition of Ed Sheeran's song 'Photograph' in their blind audition.
Voted Young Scot of the Year in 2021, the 13 year old has already turned his hand to radio presenting, and has been praised for rallying his friends and contacts to visit local care homes to sing for them when they have been at their loneliest or darkest times, using lockdown as 'an opportunity to raise money, highlight the importance of friendship and shine some happiness on our communities most vulnerable'.
