The RNLI and Coastguard have organised an important online safety session this evening to cater for the boom in paddleboat users on the Ayrshire coast this summer.
Are you new to paddleboarding or thinking about joining one of the fastest growing water sports in the world?
Are you a seasoned paddler but keen to make sure you’re being as safe as possible?
A virtual Paddleboard Safety presentation is taking place tonight involving RNLI Troon Lifeboat and Ardrossan Coastguard.
An RNLI spokesperson said: "As well as providing a range of practical safety information there will also be a question and answer session for anything relating to water and paddleboard safety as well as advice available from qualified paddleboard instructors.
"And don’t worry if you can’t make tonight’s session - there will be other opportunities so keep an eye on our social media feeds."
