Thistle are sweating on the fitness of some key players heading into an important run of games, starting at home to Cumnock in the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier League.

A victory over Cumnock could see Largs, who were sitting bottom last week, move into the top half of the PDM Buildbase West of Scotland Premier Division.

Speedy midfielder Craig Forbes missed the victory over Rossvale with a hip injury and requires an MRI Scan, while ex-Kilbirnie defender Cory Hughes came off in the Beith defeat with a knee knock.
Forward Keir Milliken was missing the Rossvale encounter due to work commitments, but returned for the 4-0 win over Cumbernauld United on Wednesday evening as a sub.
Largs moved off bottom spot last Saturday after a 4-2 win over Rossvale, and have now leapt eight places to twelfth.
Thistle boss Stuart Davidson said he was delighted with this week's victories but has warned his players that today's opponents Cumnock are a top team.
The gaffer said:  "Cumnock will be a hard game at Barrfields - they defeated Beith in their opening game, and have made a lot of good signings with Jamie Wilson and Finlay Frye, and will be very strong in the middle of the park.

"I expect them to be a team to watch this season so we will need to be at our best."

The match takes place today at Barrfields Park, kicking off at 2pm.
